Introduction of HCY Saliva Collection Kit:

HCY Saliva Collection Kit is a user-friendly design for users to self-collect DNA/RNA samples at home, an all-in-one system for collecting, stabilizing, transporting, and storing RNA from saliva samples. The saliva sample secreted by the mouth is collected through the collection tube, and the collected saliva is evenly mixed with the transfer fluid to ensure the integrity of the DNA/RNA in the saliva sample.

HCY Saliva Collection Kit Uses:

HCY Saliva Collection Kit is suitable for collecting and storing human oral saliva samples at room temperature. The DNA in the saliva sample can be obtained later by nucleic acid extraction.

HCY Saliva Collection Kit Collection Principles:

The HCY Saliva Collection Kit collects saliva samples secreted by the mouth through a collection tube and mixes the collected saliva with the saliva preservation solution evenly to ensure the integrity of the DNA in the saliva samples and store them at room temperature for a long time.

Description of HCY Saliva Collection Kit:

①. Relax your cheeks and knead gently for 30 seconds to produce saliva;

②. Gently spit about 2ml of saliva into the saliva collection funnel;

③. When collecting saliva, pay attention to avoid too much foam (excluding the upper layer of foam);

④. Open the DNA preservation solution tube and unscrew the bottle cap;

⑤ Pour the DNA preservation solution into the saliva collector, and confirm that the layered interface between the sample collection solution and the upper layer of foam reaches the scale line shown by 4ml;

⑥ Unscrew the collection funnel from the screw port of the saliva collector and take off the funnel (be sure to dispose of the waste after use to avoid contact with pollution);

⑦. Tighten the cap on the sample collection tube, invert the liquid in the tube and mix, so that the DNA preservation solution and the saliva sample are fully mixed, and the sample collection is completed.

Product parameter:

1. The composition of the collection funnel, collection tube, and collection tube cap should be polypropylene material;

2. The preservation solution (transport medium) is sealed and leak-free;

3. Centrifuge tube and saliva collection port do not leak preservation solution (transport medium).

Precautions:

①. Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum within 30 minutes before collecting saliva samples

② It takes 2 to 5 minutes for most people to collect saliva samples according to the above steps.

③. Before starting to collect saliva, please relax your cheeks and gently massage your cheeks with your fingers for 15-30 seconds to produce saliva.

④. Confirm that the outer packaging of the saliva sample collection tube is intact, and check the saliva storage tube to confirm that there is no leakage. Important note: Saliva collection fluid cannot be used!

⑤ Under room temperature storage conditions, saliva samples collected by this product can be stored stably for 1 month, and high-quality high-molecular-weight DNA fragments can be separated within the shelf life. Given the individual differences in the samples, the specific shelf life of different samples fluctuates
